Man, how did it get to be July already? The summer is clipping right along. It seems to me that the next seven week will move at a rapid pace. For me they are jam packed with lots of GOODNESS. Summer is in full swing. I am too tan for my liking. I am ever thankful for my screen porch. The days are not long enough. There is loads of newness around me and I am thrilled. The Spirit is moving, people. Watch out! It makes me smile.

Today I am celebrating because:

Richard Foster has a new book release and it arrived in my mailbox today. I may have to squeeze this baby in between my required reading. It is called “Life with God” and I am all about it.

I am dog sitting a puppy that is nutty. This is a frisky one. She is the best boundary crosser I’ve ever seen…the ultimate in personal space invading. She keeps licking Rosemary’s face (the boxer) and it is the sweetest thing. They have bonded and the weekend promises to be very fun.

I got my homework done early and my homily is written for Sunday. I am in simmer mode. God is so amazingly good.

My next door neighbor is cooking breakfast in the a.m. and we will load up on good grub…this woman can cook!

Sweeney Todd is creepier than I imagined, but no one does gloom like Tim Burton. It’s gross, but I recommend.

I lost my cell phone. I got a new cell phone. I found my cell phone. Same number. More hip.

Summer is SWEET…I am really thinking endless summer…it is the best idea. Truly.
